Deputy Minister of Local Administration, Rural Development, and Administration Nasser Al-Mahdhar met today with Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulmajid Al-Murtada to discuss aspects of coordination and cooperation between the Ministry of Local Administration and its local authority bodies, and the Ministry of Interior.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Local Administration stressed the importance of enhancing coordination between security agencies and local authority bodies to ensure the consolidation of security and stability across all administrative units.
He praised the achievements of the security services in combating crime and reducing security breaches.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Interior emphasized the importance of adhering to legal procedures when addressing security issues, to ensure justice and safeguard citizens’ rights.
