Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely in the highlands of Abyan, Shabwah, Hadramaut, Mahrah, western Jawf, and parts of the western and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Mahwit was 47 mm, Ibb: 9 mm, Bayda-Dhi Na'im: 1.8 mm, and Hajjah: 1.2 mm.
Scattered rains fell on parts of the western highlands and the Tihama plain, but were outside the stations' range.
The center warned citizens in the western highlands, the interior plateaus, and the Tihama plain, where rainfall is expected, to avoid venturing into valleys or walking in floodwaters, even if they appear shallow.
It also warned of thunderstorms, soil erosion, and rockslides, and advised them to follow safety measures and avoid unstable slopes.
