Sana’a - Saba:
A meeting was held on Sunday in Sana’a, chaired by Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, to discuss the preparations and arrangements for commemorating the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday within the ministry and its affiliated units.
The meeting, attended by Chairman of the Social Insurance Corporation and Head of the Supervisory Committee Sharafuddin Al-Kahlani, and Chairman of the Social Insurance and Pensions Authority Ibrahim Al-Haifi, focused on the ministry’s and its units’ roles in preparing to celebrate this significant religious occasion, as well as the mechanism and executive program of related events and activities.
Also present were the two deputy heads of the Social Insurance and Pensions Authority Abdul Salam Al-Kahlani and of the Social Insurance Corporation Haitham Basid, and the Undersecretary of the Human Resources Sector and Chairman of the Preparatory Committee Ali Al-Kibsi. The meeting reviewed the matrix of the executive program for events and activities in accordance with the approved government plan, the appointment of preparatory committee members, and the report on last year’s Prophet’s birthday commemoration.
Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development stressed the necessity of proper preparation for celebrating the Prophet’s birthday in a manner befitting the significance of this occasion in the hearts of Muslims, and Yemenis in particular.
He described the Prophet’s birthday as a spiritual and educational milestone from which values and principles embodied by the greatest Prophet in his noble biography should be drawn. He confirmed that the occasion, which Yemenis have annually observed, has been linked to many transformations in the development path of the state across various sectors, including administrative and functional sectors.
He pointed out that celebrating the Prophet’s birthday is a revival of the values and meanings of goodness, guidance, peace, faith, generosity, and sacrifice brought by the Prophet to all humanity, and an opportunity to embrace his morals and faith traits, adhere to his teachings, and follow his path.
Meanwhile, Preparatory Committee Secretary Muhammad Nasser Radman reviewed the implementation steps for commemorating the occasion through the ministry’s general program and its units, which included numerous procedures, arrangements, and purposeful activities aimed at preparation, mobilization, and active participation throughout all stages of the commemoration in a way that reflects loyalty and emulation of the Master of Creation, Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
