A meeting was held today in Al-Mahwit Governorate to discuss the security plan for securing the celebrations of the Prophet’s Birthday.
During the meeting, the Governorate’s Police Chief, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Tawoos, outlined the plan’s key points, which aim to secure the main celebration venue and events. The plan includes deploying security units at checkpoints, streets, and entrances leading to the event site, as well as intensifying protection measures across the governorate to ensure smooth movement and organized entry and exit of participants.
Al-Tawoos, in the presence of Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Khaled Al-Sham, stressed the need to double efforts, raise vigilance and security readiness, and enhance coordination between the joint operations room, all security units, and traffic police to secure the governorate’s entrances and streets, maintain security and stability, and protect public and private property.
He emphasized maintaining a high level of security awareness and constant readiness to respond to any emergencies, while also preserving the spiritual atmosphere among security personnel to reflect the greatness and significance of the occasion in the hearts of Yemenis.
Al-Tawoos also directed that security facilities and offices be decorated with banners and slogans of the Prophet’s Birthday to create a festive atmosphere reflecting joy in the occasion.
