Hajjah - Saba:
A meeting in Hajjah Province discussed on Sunday the private sector's role in preparing for the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) and joining the Hajjah Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society.
Participants in the meeting—which included Hajjah’s directors of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Mahmoud Wahban; Health and Environment, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahlani; and the governorate center’s director, Engineer Issam Al-Wazan—emphasized the importance of the private sector’s involvement in honoring this religious occasion in a manner befitting its sanctity.
They urged private businesses to decorate their companies and commercial establishments and actively participate in celebratory events marking this religious milestone.
The meeting, attended by members of the preparatory committee for the Hajjah Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society, local merchants, pharmacy owners, and lab operators, also addressed aspects related to joining the cooperative to enhance its developmental and service performance.
Discussions highlighted the cooperative society's vital role in implementing investment projects in economic infrastructure, marketing local farmers' and manufacturers' products, organizing seasonal exhibitions, and supporting innovators and entrepreneurs.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed the tasks, objectives, bylaws, and membership procedures of agricultural cooperative societies.
