Ma'een District in the Capital Secretariat witnessed four celebratory evenings in joy of the blessed anniversary of the Prophet's Mawlid (peace , blessings be upon him and his family).
Residents of the neighborhoods of Ghader Al-Janubiyah in Al-Qubbah, Al-Ikhlas and Wadi Al-Balas in Al-Sanina, and Al-Quds in Madhab organized cultural and religious evenings to honor this great religious occasion, with significant official and public attendance.
The events were attended by member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Sheikh Fuad Naji, Assistant Deputy of the Capital Secretariat Sami Sharafuddin, directors of the Secretariat’s Finance Office Dr. Mohammed Al-Junaid and Abdulmalik Al-Radhi, as well as neighborhood affairs official Sharaf Al-Warith. Several speeches highlighted the importance of celebrating the birth of the best of mankind, the Messenger of Humanity, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
The speeches addressed the profound meanings and values embodied in commemorating the Prophet’s Mawlid, reinforcing the connection with the Prophet and the Holy Quran, following his righteous path, and reviving faith-based values and charity toward the poor and needy.
The speakers affirmed that celebrating the birth of the Prophet of Light and Guidance demonstrates that the Yemeni people remain steadfast in their covenant and loyalty to Allah and His Noble Messenger, adhering to his righteous approach in confronting the enemies of Islam and Muslims while supporting truth, the oppressed, and sacred causes.
They called for broad mobilization and participation in celebrating the Prophet’s Mawlid in a manner befitting its significance in the hearts of Yemenis, praising the efforts of Ma'een’s residents, dignitaries, and elders in organizing these Muhammadan evenings.
