The Board of Directors of the Higher Judicial Institute, in its meeting today in Sana'a chaired by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Judge Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah, and attended by the Attorney General, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Judge Abdul Salam Al-Houthi, approved the final overall results of exams, research, conduct, and attendance for the third academic year.
The board also approved the cumulative results of the three-year program for the 24th batch of the Higher Specialized Studies Division for Judges, comprising 101 students, granting them a Master's degree in Sharia and Legal Sciences. The results were referred to the Supreme Judicial Council to complete legal procedures before their field deployment, pending approval from the Supreme Political Council.
Additionally, the institute’s board endorsed the final overall results for first-year students of the 25th batch in the Diploma of Islamic Sharia Sciences (Higher Specialized Studies Division) for the academic year 1446 AH / 2024-2025, as submitted by the Academic Council.
The board reviewed memorandums No. 206 and 207 from the Minister of Justice dated Safar 11, 1447 AH, regarding the implementation of Supreme Judicial Council Resolutions No. 55 and 54 of 1447 AH, approving the admission plan for the next batches—the 26th batch of Higher Judicial Studies and the 3rd batch of Criminal Sciences for the Public Prosecution. Preparations will begin for announcing and processing admissions through the institute’s deanship.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Justice and Human Rights inspected ongoing construction work for a dining hall and kitchen annex to the student dormitory at the Higher Judicial Institute, partially funded by the General Zakat Authority.
Judge Mujahid received a briefing from the Executive Director of the Judicial Support Fund on project progress and requirements, emphasizing its importance in supporting students amid current exceptional circumstances due to aggression and blockade, in line with directives from the Supreme Judicial Council, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, and the Higher Judicial Institute.
