London – Saba:
Everton Football Club announced on Wednesday the signing of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea on a five-year contract running until 2030, marking the club’s fifth signing of the new season.
In a statement on its official website, Everton confirmed: “Everton have completed the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.”
The 26-year-old midfielder signed a deal that keeps him at Goodison Park until the end of June 2030.
Dewsbury-Hall began his career in the youth ranks of Leicester City and, after loan spells at Blackpool and Luton Town, secured a regular starting role with the Foxes’ senior team.
He joined Chelsea last summer on a contract running until 2029 at the request of Italian coach Enzo Maresca, who had previously managed him at Leicester.
During the 2024–2025 season, Dewsbury-Hall made 36 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions. He was the only player to feature in all 15 of Chelsea’s matches in their victorious UEFA Europa Conference League campaign and was also part of the squad that won the FIFA Club World Cup.
Dewsbury-Hall becomes Everton’s fifth signing this summer, following the permanent acquisition of Charlie Alcaraz and the signings of Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, and Adam Aznou.
