Hafash District of Al-Mahwit province witnessed a student march on Tuesday in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in support of Gaza, held under the slogan: "With the People of Gaza and Palestine Against Starvation, Crimes, and Oppression."
During the march, the head of the educational sector in the district, Ahmed Al-Zain, emphasized that Yemen's supportive stance toward Gaza remains unwavering at all levels and will persist for the sake of God and in His path. He affirmed that all Yemeni governorates will continue to stand with Gaza and Palestine, as this position reflects a fundamental aspect of faith in God , His Messenger , represents the highest moral and spiritual commitment.
He stressed that Gaza is the ultimate test of the sincerity of faith for all Muslims—nations, governments, parties, movements, individuals, and groups.
He further noted that standing in support of Gaza is a fundamental and righteous principle in the face of one of the most blatant injustices in modern human history , in defense of the clearest and most legitimate just cause of our time.
The statement issued at the march condemned the crimes of genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza—through killing, starvation, thirst, and blockade—amid American support , Arab, Islamic, global silence and inaction.
The statement praised the Yemeni Armed Forces for announcing the beginning of the fourth phase of operations to confront the US-Zionist aggression and defend the Palestinian people until the genocide stops and the blockade on steadfast Gaza is lifted.
The statement held the United States and the Zionist entity fully responsible for the crimes of genocide and for using starvation as a weapon of mass destruction.
It also held the silent and complacent rulers of Arab regimes responsible for encouraging and enabling the Zionist enemy to persist in committing these heinous crimes.
