Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed al-Mahdi, along with Ministry Undersecretary Eng. Ali al-Makni, reviewed on Monday the implementation of training programs by the General Postal Authority.
Al-Mahdi emphasized the importance of building staff capacity and modernizing postal services across Yemen, in line with the Government of Change and Development’s strategic priorities.
During the visit, the minister urged trainees to apply their newly acquired skills to enhance postal services amid ongoing challenges caused by years of war and blockade.
Director-General of the Postal Authority Ammar Wahan briefed the delegation on a five-day training course focused on leadership and administrative transformation for postal managers across the country.
The program aims to shift from traditional management to more productive, tech-driven approaches, particularly in digital payments and postal services.
Wahan reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to implementing training plans and digitizing its services nationwide.
