Gaza - Saba:
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip revealed on Monday evening an "extremely dangerous development," stating that the Israeli enemy committed a "double massacre."
First, it prevented the entry of aid trucks, then targeted security checkpoints supervised by local clans and families safeguarding the aid, resulting in the martyrdom of 11 security personnel.
The office added, "After confirming their martyrdom, the trucks were allowed to enter, only to fall into the hands of armed gangs under the cover of drones and live gunfire."
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the office stated that "the occupation continues to engineer famine and spread chaos," clarifying that "no more than 87 aid trucks entered Gaza today, most of which were looted and stolen due to the systematic chaos perpetuated by the Israeli occupation."
It further noted that "the limited airdrop operation carried out today did not exceed half a truck's worth of supplies and landed in active combat zones east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood and Jabalia—areas under occupation control and inaccessible to civilians."
The office condemned "what is happening in Gaza as a systematic and ongoing crime aimed at completely collapsing the humanitarian system , preventing food and medicine from reaching those in need, constituting a blatant violation of all international norms and conventions."
Holding "the Israeli enemy and the U.S. administration fully responsible for this catastrophic humanitarian reality," the statement called for "urgent international intervention and the establishment of an independent, impartial UN mechanism to ensure the safe and fair distribution of humanitarian aid in accordance with international law."
