Tehran - Saba:
Iranian state television announced that Tehran has agreed to hold a new round of talks with the EU Troika countries (France, Germany, and Britain) regarding its nuclear program.
Iranian state television reported early Monday that the negotiations are likely to be held next Friday in Istanbul, Turkey.
The television stated that "these negotiations are likely to be held on Friday at the level of deputy foreign ministers, with the participation of Majid Takht-e Ravanchi and Kazem Gharibabadi, in Istanbul, and the topic of the talks will be the Iranian nuclear program."
It noted that the negotiations between Iran and the European countries are being held separately from the indirect negotiations with the United States regarding the Iranian nuclear issue.
Earlier on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi asserted that "France, Germany, and Britain have lost any legal, political, or moral legitimacy in their attempt to activate the mechanisms of the nuclear agreement and UN Security Council Resolution 2231."
