Gaza - Saba:
The UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, accused Israel of killing children and starving millions, asserting that "Israel's intention is to wipe out Palestinians from the Gaza Strip."
Commenting on the starvation death of a disabled Palestinian in Gaza, Albanese said in a post on the X platform: "Our generation was raised to believe that Nazism was the greatest evil... and today there is a state (referring to Israel) that deliberately starves millions and shoots children."
Regarding what is happening in the Gaza Strip, Albanese said, "There are no words to describe what is happening in Gaza. The famine has reached its peak." The UN rapporteur considered that the international community "is rewarding Israel, and we cannot talk about a two-state solution while Israel is committing genocide."
The UN rapporteur warned that Gaza "is experiencing a tragic reality and has become a graveyard for children due to the world's inaction." She added that "the blockade and restrictions on the entry of aid are contributing to the increase in deaths," and called for "an end to the catastrophe occurring in the Gaza Strip." Albanese also criticized the United States and Israel, saying, "They are distributing food using a mechanism that relies on killing, and therefore it is a criminal project, and they face no opposition."
