Gaza – Saba:
Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini stated on Wednesday that the war in Gaza has gone beyond a humanitarian catastrophe, describing it as “a crisis that threatens the international rules-based order.”
In a statement reported by the Palestinian Safa news agency, Lazzarini said, “Entire families, neighborhoods, and even a whole generation are being wiped out in Gaza.”
Backed by the United States and European countries, the Israeli occupation army has continued to carry out acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
As of Wednesday, these attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of 58,573 Palestinian civilians—most of them women and children—and the injury of 139,607 others, according to preliminary figures. Thousands more remain trapped under the rubble or in the streets, beyond the reach of ambulance and rescue crews.
