A speech event was held on Monday
at the Military Prison and Citadel in Sana'a, in cooperation with the Moral Guidance Department, to mark Ashura—the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS)—under the slogan "Hayahat minna al-thillah" (Never to Humiliation).
The event was attended by the Director of the Military Prison and Citadel, Colonel Mohammed Al-Shahari. Speeches were delivered highlighting the stances of Imam Hussein (AS), his bravery, and his revolution against tyrants and oppressors, as well as his defense of truth and the oppressed.
The speeches emphasized Imam Hussein’s (AS) esteemed place in the hearts of Yemenis, who draw inspiration from his revolution to remain steadfast in the face of aggression. They underscored the importance of commemorating this occasion to derive lessons from the path of the "Master of the Youth of Paradise" and to follow his example.
The speeches affirmed that Imam Hussein (AS) led a revolution to confront injustice and tyranny, describing the anniversary as a motivational and spiritual milestone. They stressed the need to draw lessons from his courage , to continue supporting the Palestinian people and standing with the oppressed worldwide.
