Sana'a - Saba:
The Shura Council condemned in the strongest terms the continued criminal Zionist aggression in targeting the assets of the Yemeni people, the latest of which targeted the ports of Hodeida, Ras Isa, Salif and the central power plant in Ras Katnib.
In a statement issued today, the Council considered the continued Zionist aggression in targeting civilian facilities and objects and the resources of the Yemeni people as a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws, covenants and norms.
It pointed out that the targeting of ports is a heinous crime against civilian facilities that provide services to all Yemeni people, as well as a full-fledged crime against humanity, added to the series of deliberate and systematic crimes in targeting factories, civilian service facilities and infrastructure of the Yemeni people.
The Shura Council called on the Association of Senate , Shura Councils and similar councils in Africa and the Arab world, the countries and free people of the world, the international community, the United Nations, the Security Council and human rights bodies to condemn the naked aggression and demand that the Zionist leaders be held accountable and tried as war criminals before international courts.
The Council's statement warned that the continuation of the Zionist escalation against the Yemeni people and their resources, which threatens peace and security in the region and the world, reveals at the same time the extent of Israel's deliberate disregard for international humanitarian law.
The joint precision military operation carried out by the missile forces and drone units successfully targeted Lod Airport, the port of Ashdod, and several vital enemy targets deep in occupied territory, using 11 drones and missiles. This operation was in response to the ongoing aggression and in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.
The statement praised the role of the armed forces, particularly the Air Force, for their high vigilance and readiness in defending Yemen and deterring aggressors.
It reaffirmed that Yemen—its leadership, government, and people—will only bow to God and will continue to steadfastly defend its land and sovereignty. Yemen will not abandon its religious, moral, and humanitarian stance in support of the Palestinian people.
The Shura Council warned that the Israeli enemy’s continued crimes against the Yemeni people will come at a heavy cost, emphasizing that the Yemeni armed forces now possess the military capabilities to decisively deter any aggression.
