A speech event was held on Monday in Hodeida province to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), organized by the women’s staff of the Public Health and Population Office under the slogan "Never to Humiliation!"
The event highlighted the meanings and messages of the Hussein Revolution in resisting injustice and deviation, reviving the values established by Imam Hussein in defending truth and upholding the principles of Islam.
Speeches emphasized the importance of this commemoration in raising awareness of the nation’s issues, renewing commitment to the Quranic path embodied by Imam Hussein, and continuing the steadfast stance of resilience.
They affirmed that Imam Hussein’s revolution remains a model of sacrifice and dignity, alive in the conscience of free nations and a source of inspiration in confronting forces of domination and occupation.
The speeches noted that Ashura represents a renewed opportunity to revive the values that unite the nation and propel it toward progress, reigniting the spirit of resistance against tyranny and arrogance.
The event expressed solidarity with the nation’s causes, foremost the Palestinian issue, and emphasized support for oppressed peoples and their right to resist.
