New York – SABA:
The United Nations stated on Monday that Israel, the occupying power, continues to obstruct humanitarian aid initiatives for Gaza, confirming that occupation authorities rejected 3 out of 8 UN relief proposals just yesterday (Sunday).
UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric revealed "1 in 3 people in Gaza has not eaten for days.”
Fuel—a "lifeline for survival"—remains blocked, exacerbating the collapse of food and medical systems.
Israel denied 37.5% of UN aid initiatives (3 of 8) on Sunday alone.
Dujarric demanded Israel "open all crossings immediately" to comply with international humanitarian law.
700,000 Gazans have been displaced multiple times since Israel violated the March ceasefire.
No safe zones remain; civilians face bombardment even in designated "humanitarian areas”.
57,523 martyrs (mostly children/women) and 136,617 injured since October 7, 2023.
Thousands more remain trapped under rubble, unreachable due to ongoing attacks and blockade.
The statement condemned U.S. and European support enabling Israel’s genocide, now in its 10th month with no accountability.
