Ramallah – Saba:
The Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Prisoners' Club reported on Monday that the Israeli occupation authorities have issued and renewed administrative detention orders against 66 Palestinian detainees, including the female prisoner Shahd Hassan from Ramallah.
In a joint statement, the Commission and the Club stated that the Israeli occupation continues to escalate its use of the crime of administrative detention under the pretext of a "secret file," according to the Palestinian news agency "Safa."
The statement noted that the number of Palestinian administrative detainees is now the highest compared to sentenced and detained prisoners, witnessing an unprecedented surge since the start of the genocide. The current number of administrative detainees has reached 3,629.
