Tulkarm – SABA:
Israeli occupation forces began demolishing residential buildings in Tulkarm Refugee Camp today, as part of their ongoing military aggression on the camp and city, now entering its 162nd consecutive day.
According to Palestinian media, heavy occupation bulldozers started razing structures in the al-Murabba’a neighborhood of the camp. The demolitions are part of a new plan targeting 104 buildings that include around 400 homes, extending the destruction carried out over the past days in other parts of the camp.
This action comes despite a prior freeze on demolition orders issued by the Israeli Supreme Court. On Sunday, Israeli authorities announced their intent to carry out large-scale demolitions starting Monday, openly defying the court’s decision.
The move signals a serious escalation in the occupation’s policy of collective punishment, further displacing already vulnerable Palestinian families under the pretext of security operations.
