Dhamar - Saba:
Branches of the Public Telecommunications Corporation, the General Postal and Savings Authority, and the Executive Unit for Construction in Dhamar province organized a speech event on Monday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), under the slogan "Far from us is humiliation."
During the event, the Province Deputy, Mohammed Abdulrazzaq, emphasized the importance of reviving this occasion to recall the tragedy of Karbala, which reminds the nation of the lessons and morals derived from that sorrowful event, as well as the necessity of supporting truth and combating falsehood.
He pointed out that the oppression faced by the people of Gaza and Yemen is an extension of the injustice suffered by the Master of Martyrs, who stood against tyranny and sought to reform the deviation that had afflicted the nation's path. He affirmed the commitment to following Imam Hussein’s approach in confronting injustice , oppression, supporting the oppressed, resisting the schemes of the American-Zionist enemy and its tools.
The event was attended by the directors of the Public Telecommunications Corporation branch, Fouad Al-Qawas, and the General Postal Authority branch, Ahmed Abdulrazzaq. Cultural activist Mohammed Rizq stressed the importance of this commemoration in reviving Imam Hussein’s message and revolutionary methodology, embodying them in real life.
He called for drawing lessons from this occasion in sacrifice and redemption, following Imam Hussein’s path in confronting injustice, standing against the American and Israeli enemy, and continuing to support the Palestinian people in Gaza while escalating military operations that strike the enemy’s entity.
For his part, the Director of the Relations Department at the Public Telecommunications Corporation branch, Hashem Al-Kazemi, noted that reviving this occasion is not merely to evoke grief but to reflect on the lessons learned from this tragedy to face current challenges and dangers.
He highlighted that Hussein of the past represents a school, a cause, a thought, a revolution, a principle, and values that embodied sacrifice, heroism, dignity, and honor throughout his life. Today’s Hussein follows the same path, continuing to confront injustice and tyranny, dedicating his life to changing society’s reality and exposing the American-Zionist plots that seek to plunder Yemen’s resources.
