Sana'a – SABA:

The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority, in its meeting today chaired by Dr. Ahmed Abu Bakr, a member of the Authority, approved the referral of 27 defendants to the Public Prosecution in connection with three corruption cases.

The total estimated financial damage in these cases, which involved embezzlement, facilitation of embezzlement of public funds, and harm to state interests, amounted to15 million and 808 thousand US dollars.

The Council also reviewed several other cases on its agenda and made appropriate decisions regarding them.
