Ibb - Saba:
The Awqaf Office in Ibb Province organized a speech event on Monday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) under the slogan "Far from us is humiliation."
During the event, Saddam Al-Amisi, Deputy Director of the Awqaf Office in the province, emphasized that the martyrdom anniversary of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is not merely a passing occasion, but a stance, a call to truth, a cry against the arrogant, a revolution against tyrants and oppressors—no matter the sacrifices.
He noted that Imam Hussein’s (AS) stand on Ashura was not for power or prestige, but to reform the nation of his grandfather (PBUH) and return it to the true Muhammadan path.
Al-Amisi explained that Imam Hussein (AS) was a product of the school of prophethood, the house of revelation, piety, eloquence, and courage, dedicating all he had to uphold the word of truth until he was martyred alongside his loyal companions and family (AS). He stressed the need for the Ummah to follow Imam Hussein’s (AS) example in speech, action, and conduct—especially in supporting Gaza as another Karbala, amid Arab-Islamic inaction and international complicity.
He called on everyone to revive the principles and values of Imam Hussein (AS) in the hearts of future generations, raising them to love him as a symbol of truth, justice, freedom, and resistance against oppressors and tyrants.
