The Endowments, Zakat, Guidance, and Scholars offices in Hodeida province on Monday held a speech event commemorating Imam Hussein’s martyrdom under the slogan “Inspired by Ashura, Our Victory in Gaza.”
Speakers highlighted Karbala as a symbol of resistance and justice, linking its message to current events in Gaza.
Hodeida undersecretary Ali al-Kabari praised the event's institutional framework, stressing its role in reinforcing values of truth and justice in public service.
Scholars emphasized Ashura as a foundation for confronting oppression and supporting the oppressed.
The event called for continued support for Palestine and upheld Imam Hussein’s legacy as a guiding light for reform, sacrifice, and solidarity.
