Belgian Yannick Ferreira, the new coach of the Egyptian football club Zamalek, sent an enthusiastic message to the fans of the White Castle, promising that the players will do their best for them.
Zamalek club officially announced on Friday evening the signing of Yannick Ferreira to lead the team for the next season. The contract extends for one season, without disclosing the financial details of the deal.
Ferreira confirmed that negotiations with Zamalek "proceeded quickly and smoothly," given the mutual desire to cooperate between the two parties.
He told the media center: "Zamalek is a well-established team, and one of the best clubs in Egypt. I read that it was the best of the 20th century. We now hope to work together to make it the best of the 21st century as well."
