The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that the health response in the Gaza Strip faces significant operational challenges.

UNRWA said in a post on its Facebook page on Saturday: "The health response in the Gaza Strip continues to face significant operational challenges, including significant damage to health facilities."

It noted that there are obstacles to safe movement and restrictions on the entry of critical medical supplies and fuel.
