Protests erupted in the occupied territories on Saturday outside the residences of several Zionist officials, demanding a prisoner exchange deal and a ceasefire agreement to secure the release of Zionist entity captives held in Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera Net, the families of the Zionist captives stated that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio assured them that "the only victory is the return of their sons."
Zionist media reported gatherings of protesters outside the houses of officials, including Zionist President Isaac Herzog and Education Minister Yoav Kish, calling for a prisoner swap deal.
The captives' families called for large-scale demonstrations in Al-Quds and Jaffa (Tel Aviv), stating that the U.S. Secretary of State met with their representatives yesterday and reaffirmed his commitment to securing the captives' release. They quoted him as saying, "The only victory in Gaza will be the return of the captives."
The families emphasized to Rubio that there is an opportunity to bring back all captives in a single comprehensive deal—without phases, batches, or partial agreements.
Hinting at the Zionist entity government's delays in finalizing the deal, the families said, "We have waited long enough. It is time for bold decisions to bring everyone back at once."
