Jenin – Saba:
Israeli aggression on the city and camp of Jenin in the occupied West Bank escalated Saturday, marking the 159th consecutive day of aggression.
The media committee in Jenin camp said that the Israeli enemy in the city and camp continues to bulldoze and burn homes, and convert a number of them into military barracks.
The committee stated in a statement that the number of martyrs since the beginning of the aggression on the city and camp has reached 42, in addition to dozens of injuries and detainees, according to the Sanad News Agency.
It noted that the aggression has resulted in the forced displacement of approximately 22,000 citizens, who were forced to leave their homes. More than 600 homes have been completely demolished, while the remaining homes have been partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable.
A young man was injured by Israeli enemy fire on Friday evening in the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
Local sources reported that a young man was wounded by enemy fire while on al-Aber Street, south of Ya'bad.
They indicated that a soldier opened fire from a watchtower at the young man, wounding him in the foot. A foot force then conducted a search and combing operation and found him wounded in the foot.
The sources confirmed that forces detained the wounded young man at the watchtower, prevented ambulances from reaching him, and then arrested him.
Later, enemy forces informed the Palestinian Liaison that the wounded man had been transferred to a hospital inside the occupied territories.
