Hamas confirmed on Saturday that more than 66 children in the Gaza Strip have lost their lives due to complications of malnutrition and famine resulting from the entrenched blockade and systematic starvation policy imposed on the Gaza Strip by the government of war criminal Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court, since the beginning of last March.
Hamas said in a statement, that famine and malnutrition are ravaging the children of Gaza, and that the world must take immediate and urgent action to stop the ongoing crime of starvation.
It considered these brutal crimes and the targeting of innocent children and defenseless civilians with starvation, bombing, and massacres a horrific violation of international law and all humanitarian values and norms.
Hamas emphasized that the fascist Zionist enemy government is committing these crimes and violations while knowing that it is protected from accountability and prosecution due to the cover provided by the US administration, which is complicit in these crimes.
It concluded its statement by saying, "The international community, and Arab and Islamic countries, are called upon today to exert every effort to halt this escalating humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, which the criminal Netanyahu government is deliberately deepening. They must intervene to end the war of extermination, break the siege, and allow in all necessary aid and supplies for life."
