Damascus – Saba:
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Israeli enemy forces advanced toward the outskirts of the town of Saida and the village of Abu Madrah in the southern countryside of Quneitra, Syria.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, this incursion coincided with an enemy patrol moving toward the village of Kodneh in Quneitra’s countryside, though no clashes or confrontations were reported.
The Observatory noted that the continued silence regarding these intensified Israeli movements near the border areas with the occupied Syrian Golan has raised local and international questions about the security situation in the region.
This incursion comes amid ongoing tensions along the border between the Israeli entity and Syria, with such actions fueling fears of a potential security escalation.
On Friday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that an Israeli enemy force—comprising a tank, an armored personnel carrier, and around 30 soldiers—had entered the village of Al-Samadaniyah Al-Sharqiyah in Quneitra’s countryside.
The Israeli force searched several houses before withdrawing to its bases, with no reports of arrests.
