The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that Russian air defense systems shot down 31 Ukrainian drones overnight across regions in western Russia, as well as over Crimea, the Black Sea, and the Sea of Azov.
According to a statement quoted by RT, "The drones were intercepted between 11:00 PM on June 27 and 6:45 AM on June 28, Moscow time."
The statement added: "Several regions were targeted by these attacks, with 31 drones downed in total—9 over Crimea, 6 in Bryansk region, 5 in Smolensk region, 5 over the Black Sea, 2 over the Sea of Azov, 1 in Oryol region, 1 in Belgorod region, 1 in Kaluga region, and 1 in Krasnodar Krai."
