Ankara - Saba:
A source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry revealed last night that Ankara is preparing to host a representative office for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), under an agreement to be signed by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the Agency's Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini.
This agreement aims to pave the way for the establishment of a UNRWA representative office in Turkey, with the aim of strengthening its presence and enhancing its coordination capabilities, according to Anadolu Agency.
It is worth noting that Turkey supports the agency, believing in its vital role in meeting the basic needs of Palestinian refugees, particularly in the areas of education and health.
