The Deputy for Cultural and Social Affairs of the East Azerbaijan Province Police Command, northwestern Iran, announced last night the arrest of a person in the city of Tabriz on charges of communicating with the Zionist entity.
Tasnim News Agency quoted the Iranian official as saying that following the Zionist entity's attack on several areas of the country, Tabriz Police Emergency Unit forces, while conducting a security patrol, became suspicious of the driver of a vehicle with a foreign license plate who was conducting surveillance of the second air base in Tabriz.
The vehicle was immediately stopped and the driver arrested. Due to his contradictory statements, he was handed over to the Intelligence and Public Security Organization.
