Dhamar – Saba:
A meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed al-Madani in Ans district of Dhamar governorate, on Sunday focused on the crucial role of agricultural cooperatives in advancing the agricultural sector and promoting productive, sustainable development projects.
The discussion, attended by governor Mohammed al-Bukhaiti and other officials, highlighted the importance of cooperatives in achieving food security and self-sufficiency by reducing imports.
Al-Madani praised cooperatives in Ans and Maifa'a Ans for expanding crop cultivation and stressed organizing agricultural processes to minimize farmer losses and boost profitable exports.
Governor al-Bukhaiti also emphasized contract farming and investor facilities for agricultural projects.
