Madrid - Saba:
Negotiations between Barcelona and Monaco regarding the transfer of striker Ansu Fati have stalled due to disagreements over the player's salary distribution.
According to the Spanish newspaper Marca last night, the deal was considered almost finalized weeks ago, with Barcelona's management considering it a done deal. However, financial disagreements temporarily stalled progress.
However, both parties remain open, as neither has announced the cancellation of the deal, with a shared desire to reach a final agreement this June.
Monaco hopes to close the deal quickly to complete its squad before the start of the new preseason, while Barcelona is seeking to offload some players to reduce its payroll, making Fati's departure a priority for the Catalan club.
