Iranian Energy: Fordow, Natanz, Isfahan Nuclear Sites Were Subjected to Brutal Attack

Tehran - (Saba):

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said that Iran's nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan were subjected to a brutal attack early Sunday morning, which contravenes international laws, especially the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

In a statement published by Iranian media, the organization stated that the brutal attack on the three nuclear sites comes in the wake of the barbaric attacks launched by the Zionist enemy against Iran in recent days.

The organization emphasized that the attack on these sites is a violation of international laws and, unfortunately, occurred amid the indifference, and even complicity, of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The organization added in its statement: "The American enemy, through a message from its president on cyberspace, has claimed responsibility for the attack on the aforementioned sites, which are under the ongoing supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), based on the Safeguards Agreement and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty."

She continued: "We expect the international community to condemn this chaos based on the law of the jungle and stand with Iran in its pursuit of its legitimate rights."

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran emphasized that "despite the evil plots of its enemies, with the efforts of thousands of its revolutionary and enthusiastic scientists and experts, it will not allow the development of this national industry, which is the fruit of the blood of the nuclear martyrs, to be halted."

It indicated that it has placed "on its agenda the necessary measures, including legal measures, to defend the rights of the noble Iranian people."
