The atmosphere surrounding Mouloudia Algiers's coronation as the Algerian Professional Football League champions was overshadowed by sadness after several fans sustained varying injuries after falling from the upper stands of the July 5 Stadium in Algiers.

Moloudia Algiers won the title for the second consecutive time and the ninth time in its history, following a goalless draw against visiting ES M'Kira, who were relegated to the amateur league, the match, held on Saturday in the 30th and final round of the league, was attended by a record crowd of more than 60,000 spectators.
