Iranian authorities executed Majid Masibi on Sunday after he was convicted of collaborating with the Israeli Mossad and revealing strategic secrets about the country.
Mehr News Agency, citing the judiciary's public relations office, reported that Majid Masibi, who was arrested and tried on charges of "enmity against God" and "corruption on earth," was executed after completing legal and judicial procedures and the Supreme Court upholding the sentence.
According to documents and evidence, the accused, throughout his career, attempted to provide Mossad with confidential information about specific individuals and monitor sensitive locations in the country in exchange for rewards (digital currencies).
