New York - Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that Israel has been preventing the entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip for more than 100 days, threatening a complete halt to humanitarian operations in the besieged enclave.
In a post on the X platform on Tuesday, the agency stated that the "health, water, food, and communications sectors are at risk" due to the Israeli enemy's siege of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Strip has been suffering a humanitarian catastrophe since the Israeli enemy closed the crossings on March 2, preventing the entry of all supplies, including food, medicine, aid, and fuel, while its army escalates its genocide against the Palestinians.
UNRWA explained that humanitarian operations cannot be conducted without fuel, explaining that "without fuel, lives will be lost."
The UN agency emphasized the necessity of lifting the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
