Ibb - Saba:
A cultural seminar was held on Tuesday in Ibb province to commemorate the passing of the eminent scholar, Sayyid Badr al-Din Amir al-Din al-Houthi, may Allah be pleased with him.
The seminar was attended by the governorate’s agents, Rakan al-Naqeeb, Harith al-Maliki, and Qasim al-Masawi, as well as the President of Ibb University, Dr. Nasr al-Hajili. During the event, Ahmed al-Muhajir, the head of the Guidance Sector, highlighted aspects of the life of the late scholar Badr al-Din al-Houthi, his noble stances, his unwavering faith and trust in Allah, and some of his written works.
Al-Muhajir noted that the late scholar was a unique example of humility, morality, and integrity, his commitment to consuming only what was confirmed as lawful, his courage in speaking the truth in the face of tyrants and oppressors.
He further explained that the deceased had successfully raised his children on the principles of knowledge, piety, benevolence, jihad, and bravery.
Participants in the seminar discussed three working papers covering the upbringing of the late scholar Badr al-Din al-Houthi, his knowledge, his relationship with the Holy Quran, his exceptional educational approach, and the immense responsibility he felt in supporting and accompanying the establishment of the Quranic movement.
The papers also addressed his confrontation of Wahhabi ideology and the severe hardships he endured during the unjust wars waged by the former regime against Sa'ada in an attempt to suppress the blessed Quranic movement.
