The Public Works Office, branches of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, the Land, Transport, and Geological Survey Authorities, the Road Maintenance Executive Unit, and Taiz International Airport organized a speech event to commemorate Wilayah Day.
During the event, Abdulrahman Mahmoud, Director of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority Office, stated in his speech that celebrating Wilayah Day honors the completion of religion and the perfection of blessings for the nation.
He explained that the nation’s failure to understand the concept of Wilayah (guardianship) in Islam has made it prey to oppressive and tyrannical rulers, leading it to fall under the guardianship of Jews and Christians.
He pointed out that the absence of this principle has led the nation to the state of fragmentation it faces today, emphasizing that the path to victory can only be achieved through sincere allegiance to Allah, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the guiding leaders.
He called for drawing lessons from the personality and life approach of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), as he represents the Islamic model of justice and leadership.
Meanwhile, Hossam Al-Fatesh, Director of the Executive Unit, affirmed that the Yemeni people stand out among other nations by celebrating the Wilayah Day of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). He explained that the Yemeni people embody adherence to the principle of Wilayah by standing against the enemies of Allah.
