The General Endowment Office in Ibb province organized a cultural event on Tuesday to commemorate Al-Wilayah Day for the year 1446 AH.
During the event, Saddam Al-Amisi, Deputy Director of the Endowment Office in the province, emphasized that Al-Ghadir Day is not an ordinary day but one of the greatest days of God, on which the religion was perfected, His blessings and favor upon His servants were completed, with Islam being chosen as their religion.
He noted that the sermon of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) at Ghadir Khumm was a proclamation of God’s command—a clear and explicit prophetic declaration that guides the nation toward righteousness and prevents it from going astray. He explained that the principle of Wilayah (guardianship) in Islam is a profound concept rooted in the final Prophet’s words at Ghadir Khumm.
Al-Amisi affirmed that Eid al-Ghadir is a great blessing from God Almighty, through which the nation is preserved and the trust is safeguarded. He stressed that if people adhere to their Prophet’s teachings, they will attain dignity, honor, victory, and empowerment.
He underscored the importance of reviving this significant occasion, making it a platform for unity under the path of Wilayah, and a spiritual milestone that reinforces awareness of the authentic Muhammadan approach while renewing allegiance to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the guiding leaders (peace be upon them).
In a speech by the scholars, Sheikh Muqbil Al-Kadahi highlighted the virtues of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the meanings behind Al-Wilayah Day as a completion of the religion , a manifestation of God’s blessings and favor.
He emphasized the necessity of following divine directives and maintaining sincere loyalty to the Noble Prophet and Imam Ali (peace be upon them), warning that the nation’s lack of understanding of Wilayah in Islam has led it to fall under the influence of Jews and Christians.
Al-Kadahi praised the positions of the Yemeni people, their wise leadership, and their brave armed forces in supporting the Palestinian people. He also commended Iran’s strong, effective, and swift response against the Zionist entity’s sites and installations.
He called on all members of the nation to stand united in support of Palestine and Iran, confronting the American-Zionist enemy through all means until victory is achieved , Al-Aqsa and the occupied lands are liberated.
