Gaza – SABA:
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad in Palestine, announced on Tuesday the successful destruction of two Zionist military troop carriers in a joint operation east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the groups confirmed:
"Our joint forces destroyed two enemy troop carriers using 'Shuwadh' explosives and martyrdom-operated devices in Al-Absan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis."
The statement added:
"Our fighters confirmed the vehicles were engulfed in flames, forcing the enemy to dispatch rescue helicopters to evacuate dead and wounded soldiers."
This operation comes as Palestinian resistance factions continue responding to the Zionist entity's genocidal war on Gaza – supported by the U.S. – which since October 7, 2023 has involved mass killings, starvation tactics, systematic destruction, and forced displacement, in blatant violation of international court orders.
