Hodeida - Saba:
Bajil District in Hodeida Governorate witnessed a festive festival for the people of the Eastern Districts Square, commemorating the Day of the Wilaiya of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The festival was held under the slogan "Whoever I am his guardian, then this Ali is his guardian."
The festival, which was attended by members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, and the Governor's Deputy for Eastern District Affairs, Amer Muthanna, featured speeches that reviewed the significance of the Day of Guardianship and the importance of preparing the nation to restore its glories, starting from this pivotal moment that laid the foundations for the post-death phase of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
The speeches explained that the Day of Guardianship is one of the most important occasions during which everyone must return to the path of Imam Ali and adhere to his guardianship. They noted that the nation must begin to change its paths and reality by embodying divine directives to emerge from the diaspora.
They pointed to the importance of instilling the values of loyalty in accordance with correct Quranic concepts, as a culmination of the great message conveyed by the Noble Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) when he raised the hand of Imam Ali and said, "Whoever I am his guardian, then this Ali is his guardian."
They praised the virtuous example set by Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in his life and his closeness to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and his continued carrying of the banner of truth after the death of the Greatest Prophet, in support of Islam and Muslims and in opposition to the forces of falsehood.
The speeches emphasized that the project of guardianship is the impregnable dam that preserves the nation's faith identity and protects it from falling into the quagmires of dependency and deviation. She noted that peoples are only defeated when they lose their loyalty to the axis of guidance and turn away from the beacons of guidance.
They stated that the commemoration of Ghadir gains this momentum because it opens the nation's awareness to the necessity of having a clear faith-based reference that connects the past to the present and builds the future on the foundations of loyalty to Allah, His Messenger, and the beacons of guidance, far removed from dependency on the West and the forces of tyranny. The speeches addressed the principles and values embodied by Imam Ali and their valuable impact on generations, strengthening their intellectual fortification.
They explained that the Day of Ghadir is the day of separation between right and wrong, the day on which the nation distinguished itself from all other nations by its approach to loyalty. They called for drawing inspiration from the lessons of righteous leadership from Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
The festival, which was attended by directors of directorates, local and executive leaders, and social figures, included expressive chants and poems.
