The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the complete elimination of the Ukrainian "Babylon" formations and the seizure of their banners and weapons on the southern Donetsk axis, continuing its liberation and cleansing of the area from remnants of Kyiv forces.
RT quoted the commander of the "Far East Wind" drone unit of the "Eastern" forces, in a video statement published by the ministry, as saying that the "Babylon" unit had supported the Ukrainian infantry forces and resisted the Russian advance, but "it did not withstand the intense strikes for long and was completely annihilated."
He explained that the Ukrainian unit lost all its personnel and equipment, including drones, and is no longer present.
During the fighting, Russian forces managed to shoot down Ukrainian reconnaissance and attack aircraft, including six-rotor drones. They also targeted command centers and drone launch pads, inflicting direct damage to equipment and personnel. They continue to cleanse the republic of remnants of Kyiv forces.
