Several districts across Dhamar governorate on Thursday hosted cultural events to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah, emphasizing its significance as a foundational milestone for building a cohesive and strong nation.
Organized by various sectors and local communities, including Technical Education, Tourism, General Mobilization, and residents of numerous residential blocks and sub-districts, the events featured speeches highlighting the Day of al-Wilayah as a pivotal moment in Islamic history.
Speakers underscored the Prophet's declaration of Imam Ali's guardianship at Ghadir Khumm, asserting that this established a clear foundation for leadership, ensuring national unity and stability against challenges.
The speakers emphasized that Ghadir Khumm conveyed a clear message about loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali, and adherence to his teachings as crucial for preserving national unity.
They stressed the nation's need to regain its status by returning to God and loyalty to His Messenger, Imam Ali, and "beacons of guidance."
