Foreign Affairs Ministry condemns Zionist aggression against Iran

Sana'a - Saba:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned in the strongest terms the Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered this aggression a blatant and flagrant violation of the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in contravention of the Charter of the United Nations and all international norms, conventions, and laws.

The Ministry indicated that the Zionist entity seeks to drag the entire region into a regional war and undermine efforts to achieve peace there, stressing confidence in Iran's ability to respond and teach the Zionist entity a lesson it will never forget.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs attributed the Zionist aggression against Iran to Iran's supportive stances on Islamic issues, especially the legitimate Palestinian cause. It affirmed Iran's right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy and praised Iran's constructive approach to this issue.

The statement pointed out that the United States of America gave the usurping Zionist entity the green light to launch its brutal aggression against Iran, and even provided it with intelligence and logistical support.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community, particularly the Security Council, to condemn the brutal Zionist aggression and curb the usurping entity that threatens international peace and security. It stated that what is happening will be a test for all regimes, exposing their hidden agendas and relations with the Zionist entity.

The statement expressed the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen, its leadership, government, and people, with the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran, affirming its right to self-defense and to respond to the Zionist aggression.
