Hamas has stressed that "the international community and its institutions must take immediate action to stop this brutal mechanism and confront the sadistic criminal behavior of the war criminal Netanyahu and his government, who use aid as a tool for killing, abuse, and humiliation."
In a statement on Thursday, it said: "The massacres committed on Thursday by the fascist enemy army continue around the aid control points, under the Zionist-American mechanism, south of Gaza City and west of Rafah. These have become traps for daily mass killings targeting innocent starving civilians."
The statement added: "Twenty-six martyrs were martyed this morning by the bullets of the terrorist occupation army while waiting to receive humanitarian aid, bringing the number of starving martyrs around these criminal centers to nearly 250, in addition to thousands of wounded."
It emphasized that "this repeated crime, in addition to the daily massacres resulting from airstrikes on residential neighborhoods and displaced persons' tents, embodies a brutal, systematic policy of genocide, perpetrated in full view of the world, using all means of killing and torture, including bombing, starvation, and siege, against defenseless civilians."
The statement also stressed "the necessity for Arab and Islamic countries and their peoples to take action, using all means and at all levels, and to exert pressure to open the crossings and allow the entry of aid, stop the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing, and stand by the Palestinian people and support their legitimate right to freedom, an end to the occupation, and self-determination."
