Doha – Saba:
Hamas on Friday accused the Zionist entity of causing the death of prisoner Mohammed Asasa from Tulkarm, citing "tragic conditions and a policy of medical neglect" inside Israeli prisons.
In a statement, Hamas mourned the heroic prisoner and emphasized the need to hold the fascist occupation government accountable for its crimes against prisoners, including torture and denial of basic human rights.
The movement warned of the dangerous conditions prisoners face, stressing that their issue remains a national priority until their freedom is achieved.
Hamas urged legal and humanitarian institutions to pressure the occupation and called on Palestinians in the West Bank to intensify efforts to support prisoners amid their suffering.
