A Palestinian resistance fighter was martyred Thursday in a clash with Israeli enemy soldiers between Jenin and Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank.
Sanad News Agency quoted an Israeli enemy army spokesperson as saying that a Palestinian resistance fighter was martyred after being shot by Israeli enemy soldiers after carrying out a shooting attack at Harmeesh checkpoint, between Jenin and Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank.
He reported that a Palestinian opened fire on Israeli enemy soldiers at Harmeesh checkpoint near Tulkarm, before being martyred by the soldiers' gunfire.
For its part, the Rescue Without Borders organization in Israel said that a Palestinian gunman carried out a shooting attack on an Israeli army position on the road leading to the town of Harmeesh, north of the West Bank, without causing any injuries to soldiers.
It stated that the Palestinian arrived at the checkpoint in a vehicle and exited the vehicle, carrying a pistol, before being killed by Israeli soldiers' gunfire on the spot.
